Are you interested in Yuso's smart steering system for your battery or solar panels, but are you still tied to another supplier?
For PV Curtailment (the temporary shutdown of solar panels), Yuso only needs the injection contract.
For battery steering, Yuso needs both the supply contract and the injection contract.
If you are unable to conclude these contracts with Yuso, unfortunately Yuso will not be able to offer you steering.
The reason for this is that your current supplier fulfils the role of Balance Responsible Party at your purchase and injection point. This role is necessary to realise the benefits of smart steering.
Thanks to this role, Yuso can settle specific energy volumes at imbalance prices. For example, by allowing the battery to consume more when imbalance prices are negative, you as a customer receive an imbalance benefit.
However, if Yuso is not your energy supplier, it cannot capture these benefits and therefore cannot pass them on to you.
👉 That is why it is always necessary to have both your energy contract and your steering contract with Yuso. Only then can Yuso pass on the benefits of smart steering to you correctly and in full.
